Daisy and Jared

“Our Goal is to offer something really special. A fun and informal day with us will always be unique because all charters are tailored to suit you…”

UK born, Ivy’s Captain Daisy began her Yachting career at the age of three weeks on the Norfolk Broads, England. Eight years ago, she worked as a Flotilla Hostess in the Med. Daisy has since completed three transatlantic crossings, been employed on various Race and Super Yachts and worked as a Charter Captain in popular sailing destinations including the Ionian, Aegean, Cyclades, Croatia and the Caribbean. For two years previous to joining Ivy she was based in the BVI teaching RYA and US Sailing courses.

First Mate Jared, South African born, is a sailor with additional underwater skills. He trained swimming with the sharks on the beautiful coral reefs of Sodwana Bay, off South Africa’s east coast. He is an experienced and responsible Padi Dive Instructor. He is also a keen water-anything- sports enthusiast. Surfing is undoubtedly his favored pursuit. He is passionate about great music, great company and cocktails! He is currently building up sea miles and experience for his Yachtmaster later this year.

“Working on and under the sea is very much more than a day job. We are passionate about our environment, the Yacht we sail, and the community we are part of. When guests join us on Ivy it is our mission to give to them a day that exemplifies everything we love about Antigua and her beautiful shores. Through excellent service, great food and a relaxed informal environment we will make your time on board the stand out day of your holiday”.

Always the best Sailing Trip Antigua!
